1. Who processes the data

The controller of personal data is Maryna Rudaia, Candidate of Economic Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor, court expert. rudaia.com.ua is her personal website; no other party determines the purposes or means of processing data obtained through it.

2. What data is processed

Technical connection data. Whenever a page is opened, the website server and Cloudflare — the network through which the site is reachable — receive the IP address, browser and operating-system type, the date and time of the request, and the address of the requested page. This data is needed to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse; it is not used to identify the visitor.

Web-analytics data — only with your consent. If you press “Accept” in the cookie notice, Google Analytics 4 (property ID G-61P3LQEN1S) runs on the pages. The service sets cookies and transmits de-identified information about the visit to Google: page address, referral source, approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, and time on page. This information is used solely for aggregate visit statistics.

Course-application data. If you submit an application for a course through the form on the site, the following is processed: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the text of your message (if you leave one), the course title and the time of submission. This data is used solely to contact you about taking part in the course.

Correspondence. If you write by email or call, the data processed is what you have chosen to disclose, within the scope of your enquiry.

The site accepts no payments and collects no payment data, shows no advertising, builds no advertising profiles, makes no automated decisions about visitors, and does not pass data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Web analytics — to understand which materials are read and how to improve the site. Legal basis: your consent (Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”; for visitors from the European Union, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
• Handling a course application — to contact you and arrange your participation. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into an agreement (Article 11 of the Law; Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Technical connection data — to keep the site stable and protected from abuse. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Cookies

Before you make a choice in the cookie notice, the site sets no analytics cookies and makes no request to Google Analytics servers. No consent is required to read the pages — the site is fully functional either way.

• _ga, _ga_<id> — Google Analytics cookies that distinguish visits; lifetime up to two years; set only after consent and deleted when you withdraw it.
• Your analytics choice is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage, key rudaia_consent_v1) and is not transmitted to the server.
• Cloudflare, through which the site operates, may set technical security cookies; they are not used for analytics or advertising.

5. Who receives the data

• Google — the Google Analytics service (only with your consent) and Google Fonts. When fonts are loaded, your browser contacts Google servers, which receive the IP address of the connection. Terms: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare — the content-delivery network through which the site is reachable; it processes technical connection data. Terms: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Processing by these companies may take place outside Ukraine and the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States, on the terms set out in their privacy policies. Personal data is never sold or passed to anyone else, except where the law directly requires it (for example, on a request from a court or an investigating authority).

6. Retention periods

• Web-analytics data — held in Google Analytics for the period set by that service's retention settings; the applicable terms are determined by Google.
• Course applications — for as long as communication about the course continues and no longer than is needed to deliver it; deleted earlier at your request.
• Correspondence — for as long as it is needed to answer the enquiry and to record what was agreed.
• Your cookie choice — in your browser, until you change it or clear the site's data.

7. Your rights

Under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” — and, for visitors from the European Union, under the GDPR — you have the right to:

• know whether your data is processed, what data it is, and obtain a copy of it;
• have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
• request erasure of your data or restriction of processing;
• object to processing;
• withdraw consent to analytics at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
• lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, or — for visitors from the European Union — with the supervisory authority of your country.
